About the Project
Dodo Transfer is a comprehensive mobile platform developed within the Dodo Group (Dodo Hotel, Dodo Dental, Dodo Rent a Car) that provides VIP airport transfer service across Turkey's busiest tourism routes. The project was designed to deliver premium transfer service between Istanbul's two major airports (IST — Istanbul Airport and SAW — Sabiha Gokcen) and Cappadocia's two airports (NAV — Nevsehir Cappadocia and ASR — Kayseri Erkilet).
The app was born out of the lack of a digital solution despite rapidly growing demand for VIP transfers in the tourism sector. Existing transfer services were organized manually by phone or hotel reception — price uncertainty, concerns about vehicle quality, and language barriers were the biggest problems. Dodo Transfer solves all three on a single platform: transparent pricing through instant fare calculation, VIP vehicle selection with photos and specs, and a seamless experience for international tourists with support for three languages (TR/EN/DE).
The platform serves three user segments: (1) international tourists arriving in Istanbul — safe, comfortable transfer from the airport to their hotel, (2) travelers planning trips to Cappadocia — regional tour packages and custom route creation, (3) business travelers — punctual, predictable, and professional transportation. The app offers broad device compatibility with iOS 13.0+ support, a compact 36.4 MB size for fast downloads, and earns user trust with Apple's "Data Not Collected" privacy badge.
Thanks to the Dodo Group ecosystem synergy, users can be directed with a single tap to additional services after a transfer, such as hotel booking, dental appointments, or car rental — this cross-selling approach increased revenue per user by 35%.
