1. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores when you visit a website. Besides cookies, our Site uses the browser’s local storage areas: localStorage remains until you delete it, while sessionStorage is cleared when you close the tab. This policy covers both as “cookies and browser storage”.

These technologies cannot access files on your device. However, when they contain an identifier they may count as personal data, so identifiers for analytics are created only with your consent. Browser storage is not sent to the server by itself; cookies travel to the server with requests.

2. Categories We Use

There are two categories in the cookie preferences:

Required

Required (always on)

Stores your cookie choice, theme and language, form and chat limits, and the state of features you use (likes and bookmarks, Google Fonts choice, game scores, achievement progress). No consent is needed and it cannot be switched off in the cookie preferences; it is used only to run the Site and the feature you use.

Analytics

Analytics (optional)

The visitor identifier (mc_visitor_id) and session identifier (mc_session_id) of our own measurement tool. Measurement data goes to the same server that hosts the Site (Hetzner, Germany) and is not sent to a third-party analytics company. Without consent these identifiers are not created; only identifier-free, aggregate measurement takes place. Consent is valid for 12 months; when it expires, measurement stops and you are asked again.

Apart from these, there are no third-party cookies by default; Google Maps cookies may be set only when you load the map (see Section 6). No advertising, social media or third-party analytics cookies are used.

3. Managing Your Preferences

Site cookie preferences

Use the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of the page to turn analytics on or off at any time. When you decline or withdraw consent, mc_visitor_id and mc_session_id are deleted from your browser immediately and measurement stops.

Deleting in your browser

You can delete or block this Site’s cookies and site data (including localStorage and sessionStorage) in your browser settings. Your preferences will then be reset and some features may not work correctly.

Each list is deleted once its badge is unlocked. Kept only on your device.

“Persistent” means until you delete your browser data. Admin panel session cookies (muca_*) are used only when the site administrator signs in; they are not set for visitors.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Google Maps (Google LLC, USA): the map on the Contact page loads only when you press the “Load Map” button. Google may then set its own cookies, and your IP address and browser details are sent to Google. Your choice is not remembered; the map is loaded with the button on each visit. Privacy Policy →
Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA): the font tool in the Toolkit downloads fonts from Google only when you press its load-fonts button. This sets no cookies, but your IP address and browser details are sent to Google. Your choice is remembered with mc_gfonts_ok.
Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA): if it shows a security check for suspicious traffic, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie such as cf_clearance. Privacy Policy →

Apart from these, no advertising, social media or third-party analytics cookies are used.

7. Principles We Follow

We use cookies and browser storage within the framework of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), following these principles:

Consent: analytics identifiers are created only with your consent. Consent is valid for 12 months; when it expires, measurement stops and you are asked again.
Required use: cookies and storage keys that do not need consent are used only to run the Site or a feature you use.
Withdrawal: when you decline or withdraw consent, analytics identifiers are deleted from your browser immediately and measurement stops.
Transparency: the cookies and storage keys in use are listed on this page.
Data minimisation: without consent, measurement is identifier-free; measurement data is not sent to third-party analytics companies.
