About the Project
Analog photographers jot down shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and notes for every frame in a small notebook — or don't record them at all. Once the roll comes back from the lab, it becomes nearly impossible to remember which camera, which film, or which lighting condition each shot belongs to. Lens Log bridges that analog-to-digital gap.
Log 36 frames (or a custom count) per roll: shutter speed, aperture value, focus distance, and a notes field. Location is optional — cameras obviously don't have GPS, but a map view reminds you where each shot was taken. Film development tracking shows which roll is at which stage, the development date, and scan status.
When you upload the digital scan, it merges with the frame metadata. 'Roll 003, Frame 14' takes its place in your digital archive. Statistics — your most-used aperture, average shutter speed, frames-per-roll analysis — reveal the data behind what you actually love shooting.
