With Contacts access, list your friends and assign each one a check-in frequency: close friend (2 weeks), good acquaintance (6 weeks), distant friend (3 months). The app calculates this cadence from your last message or call and sends a gentle reminder: 'You haven't reached out to Mert in 5 weeks.'
The notification is silent, light, and judgment-free. It opens the message straight in Messages. Reminders launch an iMessage directly with that person — minimal friction. A stats screen shows how many friends you connected with, and how often, this year.
