About the Project
Weather apps give you information but don't suggest what to do with it. 'An 80% chance of rain today' — but what does that actually mean for you? Were you going to hang laundry out? Planning a walk? Leaving the car outside? Signal makes that connection.
Tracking live conditions from WeatherKit, the app triggers the rules you've defined ahead of time. 'Rain starts at 6:00 PM → reminder to bring in laundry at 3:00 PM.' 'Tomorrow noon, 10,000 lux of sunshine → lunchtime walk opportunity.' 'Temperature drops below -3°C → scrape the car windshield.' You write the rules; the weather triggers them.
The rule editor requires no coding: IF-THEN logic is built with drag-and-drop blocks. Conditions include temperature, precipitation, UV index, humidity, wind, and air quality. Actions include notifications, Reminders, and HomeKit scenes.
